Our client is currently searching for an IT Project Manager/Business Analyst with a strong AV background. This role is accountable for leading efforts to gather business requirements, prepare and execute the selected alternative to deploy the latest AV and end user collaboration technology across an organization.
Working daily with the team from the IT department. The projects include working with the IT infrastructure group and transforming the workplace environment into a more productive space for the overall team The team will capture the requirements for conference rooms, offices, and will be update the technology and what is needed for the various projects. They need to have an IT infrastructure background and business analysis is highly recommended. He/she will coordinate with the construction crew and develop plans on what types of technology that might be included. Examples are wireless technologies for conference rooms, soft phone technology instead of having a hard phone on your desk.
Responsibilities:
- Develops project execution plans to enable quality decision making and strong capital stewardship delivering targeted business value
- Leads business function engagements to identify requirements to analyze IT solution alternatives
- Drives design efforts of IT and Audio Video solution by translating functional requirements into technical specifications engaging experts as appropriate
- Partners with technical development team to define/execute deployment and transition strategies supporting delivery of business value
- Drives execution efforts ensuring strong project governance, change management strategies, & financial/schedule/scope management
- Work with construction team to effectively deploy solution
- Effectively assesses and manages risks to prevent erosion of business value
Project Management Experience:
• Ability to manage multiple small delivery efforts in parallel

• Core IT business analysis processes and tools (business requirements gathering, solution design)
• Can articulate the business impact and benefits of opportunities in business terms
Required Domain Knowledg e:
• Demonstrated knowledge of AV and end user collaboration tools
• Previous experience deploying AV solutions on an enterprise scale
• Familiar with AV components such as projectors, displays, amplifiers, digital signal processors, touch panels and video extenders
• Familiar with the following product lines: AMX, Crestron, CISCO, Samsung, and Panasonic
• Understanding of AV architecture
Communication Requirements:
• Clear, concise communication capabilities; tailors to audience
• Effective in explaining IT solution development in business terms
• Effective in translating business requirements into technical specifications
• Effective facilitation skills
Relationship Management:
• Partners with a broad range of business and IT groups to drive results
• Maintains influential relationships to ensure quality project execution
High School diploma/GED required, Bachelor degree preferred At least 3-5 years of Business Analysis experience
