Our client's Insider Risk Program (CIRP) is seeking an IT Project Controller V to provide support in San Ramon, CA. The opportunity is to increase the Forensics and Insider Risk Services Team’s (FIRST) user monitoring capabilities to detect and respond to exfiltration of intellectual property or other malicious or non-malicious actions that may bring financial or reputational harm to the client. 

Purpose of Project:

  • Monitor individuals associated with high risk events or privileged access
  • Close existing user monitoring gaps Simplify Requestor review and feedback process
  • Reduce FIRST UBA review time
  • Contribute to the development of an awareness and prevention program
  • Capture existing and new logs and select log management system/SIEM
  • Define governance program and processes
  • Identify what FIRST Team will own/support each new process created, and Forensics and IRST will determine the processes for their team
  • Develop BU protocol recommendations for handling insider risk
  • Develop data science to identify anomalous behavior
  • Develop metrics / feedback The main function of this role is an expert scheduling and financial controller in support of multiple projects in the Forensics space

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities
  • Accountable for maintaining updates and accuracy of project execution plans in Microsoft project across multiple projects
  • Financial analysis and monitoring
  • Maintain accuracy of Microsoft PPM entries and executive reporting
  • Primary interface between central PMO and project teams
  • Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures
  • Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates

Job Requirements:

  • Expert in Microsoft Project
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred
  • 10+ years of IT Project Controller experience required
  • Strong knowledge and experience required
  • Experienced in Microsoft PPM
  • Skilled in financial Analysis
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback
  • Strong knowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.
